Casey and Ash win through at Wimbledon
Casey Dellacqua and Ash Barty have maintained their winning ways in the women’s doubles event at Wimbledon, beating Megan Moulton-Levy and Saisai Zhang in their second round match on Friday.
The 12th-seeded Aussies won their match over the American-Chinese pairing in just over one hour on Court 5, sending them into the last 16.
There they will face either fifth seeds Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears of the US, or Austrian-Swiss pairing Sandra Klemenschits and Romina Oprandi.
Dellacqua and Barty also won their opening round match in straight sets.
The duo have continued the form that saw them two weeks ago claim the title at the WTA grasscourt event in Birmingham, and earlier in the year stage a stunning run to the Australian Open final as a wildcard pairing.
Dellacqua has also entered the mixed doubles draw with American Scott Lipski, with whom she combined to win the 2011 French Open mixed title.
They are the 13th seeds in the Wimbledon mixed event.
