Casey qualifies at Indian Wells

Casey Dellacqua has continued her solid  singles form of 2014, qualifying for the main draw at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

Dellacqua reached the main draw after a 6-4 6-3 victory over Brit Johanna Konta on Tuesday, having won her opening round qualifying match over Anna Tatishvili on Monday.

Already this year, the West Australian progressed to the fourth round at the Australian Open and the second round at the Brisbane International.

Dellacqua will also combine with Ash Barty in doubles; seeded seventh, the Aussie duo will take on the wildcard pairing of Martina Hingis and Sabine Lisicki.

In 2013 Dellacqua and Barty reached the doubles finals at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open.
